Military Summary And Analysis For 2024.09.08 – The General Battle of Pokrovsk – The Battle of Kursk— A Ukrainian Nightmare
* The Russian ground troops have been able to secure the detention center in Toretsk in recent days. Several geolocated images confirm this. The Russians also hoisted their flag in the northernmost part of Niu York after the Ukrainians published a video with a flag near the industrial area, where Ukrainian ground troops were probably encircled for 3 weeks.
* In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russians can fully secure the strategically important village of Novohrodivka. At the same time, fighting continues in Selydove, where the Russians have been forced to retreat from the center of the village to the south and east in recent days.
* Between the villages of Lisivka and Zhelanne Pershe, according to Ukrainian sources, several hundreds soldiers, including many injured, are said to have been encircled after the latest Russian territorial gains.
* In Krasnohorivka, the Russians were also able to secure most of the city, and now control about 95%.

The Russian Army is conducting a series of successful counterattacks in the Kursk region, driving the enemy out of Komarovka and Sheptukhovka!
In several areas, our troops confidently seized the initiative and, a week ago, drove the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of Komarovka, significantly pushing back the occupiers and forcing the survivors to flee to Vishnevka.
After clearing Sheptukhovka (where maneuver groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered), more than a week ago, the Russian Armed Forces attacked and cleared several plantings near Pogrebki, destroying up to a company of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The enemy continues to drive reinforcements and attack on the flank of Korenevo – at Kremyanoye and Olgovka but is losing positions in other areas. Here, the situation is most difficult for us.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian army repelled 2 enemy attacks in the direction of the villages of Borki, Matveyevka, Korenevo and Russkaya Konopelki over the past 24 hours.
Russian fighters are pushing the enemy further and further away from Korenevo, attacking in the south of the village.
In general, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost several positions, and our forces liberated a considerable area and blocks of several settlements from the occupiers, destroying, without exaggeration, several hundred combat armoured vehicles, cars and howitzers.
Fierce fighting continues.

If there are no videos and pictures coming from the Russian side, one must wonder why. Perhaps they have something planned?
I’m not military or have training, but if the flow of information suddenly alters, it means something.

Bakhmut and Avdeevka took over 3 months each to fall. Let’s see Pokhrovsk. As they are all similar very heavily fortified cities, we will have the dimension of how tragic the situation is for Ukraine when Pokhrovosk falls way faster than Bakhmut and Avdeevka.

The Russian Defense Ministry has released a new video showing the destruction of a US-made M777 howitzer in Ukraine. The artillery piece was taken down by a Lancet loitering munition, the military said on Saturday.
The howitzer was discovered during redeployment in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region. Infrared drone footage released by the ministry shows the artillery piece getting towed by a truck, with an apparent escort vehicle seen traveling ahead of the consignment.
The M777 ended up hit by the Lancet as it reached a wooded area outside of a village. Drone footage shows a large blaze and secondary detonations at the site, suggesting the artillery piece and its ammo stock were destroyed. – RT

But in the beginning kyiv authorities were busy telling us they’re capable of bringing down Russian’s missiles. what happened
@m.cl.ballista4642
Dima, you focus on advances, captures and map changing. Which is very good. But…I don’t know if they will let you talk about the primar goal for the Russians, which is the depletion of manpower of the enemy. Every attempt to bring in public the astronomical casualties is silenced.
Btw…patience and the map changing will also be spectacular

Just track Ukrainian losses which are over 2000 a day. It used to be like 500 a year ago. Which shows a simple thing 60k a month x 12 is 720,000 Ukrainians. So if still fighting a year at the same tempo they need 1.4million soldiers. That’s only allows you to lose another 2000 a day not to win.

Zelenskyy wants peace but is not requesting negotiations instead requesting more weapons. The same goes for Israel.

the confirmation from a blogger who identifies dubbed video files with a video cataloging and scanning system has been updated, The Ukrainians re-propose videos of drone strikes and bombings of the sectors, several times during the months, one video has been re-proposed four times since the beginning of the conflict, in four different sectors, spacing the same one by three or four months. Having an actor as president, it is plausible that a direction that schedules the videos.
