Russia Set To Seal Up Nord Stream Gas Pipelines

By Firstpost

Russia is set to seal the Nord Stream gas pipelines, with no immediate plans to restore them. Moscow says that tensions between Russia and the West are unlikely to settle for the pipelines to be needed.

Here’s what others had to say:

JDW
USA must be held accountable for the repair and clean up!

Aboard and Abroad
Be nice to know the cost Russia is going to spend to 1) seal and secure 2) cost to repair and reactivate.

As Russia is well aware that EU Europe will boycott their gas and oil exports as long as the war in Ukraine goes on, let’s take this as a signal that some groups in Russia think about a time after the war.
No matter what – from an economic standpoint, it makes total sense to protect infrastructure which did cost several billions to build if it just costs a few millions.
Nobody can predict how the world will look like in ten or twenty years..

Germany needs something in it’s development to be reset time to time to restart again to keep it focus on it’s economy not on it’s military.

Thomas Chua
Good to be on the right side of history. Constructive, similar to China. Don’t be destructive or the world’s most warring country, whether directly or by proxy with a habit of forming ganging alliances against lone or weaker countries.

Prem Mahto
Germany will know about all the irrational actions they have done.

Most frustrating part about this is
This was a domestic or international terrorist attack, environment attack and no European nation protested or ask questions or call out anybody out.

If the Germans want the cheap Russian gas, they should fix the pipelines. Else they can continue importing expensive LNG and Norwegian gas, and watch their industries become increasingly uncompetitive and insolvent. As an alternative, the Germans can renounce their ESG insanity and start digging and burning all that lovely dirty coal from their own mines.

SPLITSLEEVE Time
We can watch this by seeing their ships come in to pump the sea water out and cap the end. TherE is a German warship there now LV RIX.

Delon Thomas
Europe heading back to Russia very soon just wait.

Dietmar Bitterlich
Russia should never make deals with Germany again. And if deals are be made they have to pay double the price.

soe win
Analysts say ” Russia desperately destroyed Nord Stream Gas pipeline. Now to seal up it again.
