Musk Wants New Twitter CEO by the End of the Year
By RT News
Elon Musk gave a loose timeframe on the end of 2023 to appoint his successor as Twitter CEO just hours after joking via a meme that his Shiba Inu dog would be “so much better than that other guy.”
He claimed his main aim before handing over the reins was to get the platform to a financially stable position – while paying around $1 billion a year just in interest on the money he borrowed to complete the takeover – and “reflect the values of the people.”
“I think that the general idea is just to reflect the values of the people as opposed to imposing the values of essentially San Francisco and Berkeley, which are so somewhat of a niche ideology as compared to the rest of the world,” he explained.
