German Intelligence ‘Alarmed’, US Questions Ukraine’s Bakhmut Priorities Amid New Russian Offensive
By CRUX
The massive losses incurred by Ukraine in Bakhmut have alarmed Germany’s foreign intelligence service (BND). The Bundestag was briefed this week during a “secret” meeting about the “three-digit number of soldiers” Kyiv is losing daily. German intelligence also warned the entire line of Ukrainian defence would be affected if Bakhmut collapsed, Der Spiegel reported. Meanwhile, the US has also warned Ukraine’s focus on Bakhmut is hampering preparations for a spring offensive in the south. Watch the video to find out more about Russian shelling outside Donbas.

Bring the pain
Germany was so concerned about the losses that they decided not to send tanks to help.

Now Ukraine says Russia has a lot of artillery and missile while 2 months ago they were saying they were out of munitions.

From “pointless symbolic victory” to “the entire line of Ukrainian defense would be affected” the potential results of the battle for Bakhmut has certainly escalated among western propagandists…

113 attacks on populated areas but only one person killed. Sounds like bull sh-t.

According to Ukrainian officials Russia had almost no more ammunition last summer, so something absolutely don`t add up.

“Lloyd Austin said we’re in this for as long as it takes.”
As long as it takes to the last Ukrainian and Ukraine is a ruinous heap, or till Congress cuts off the funds.

Several months ago they pretended that Russia was short of weapons, ammunition, food and soldiers.

Waiting for offensive? Are they think that everyone are as stupid as them? If you disturb a bee hive, you have to accept to be bitten. And that hive is angry like hell, and we shouldn’t be surprised if they gonna fly to look someone else to bite!

if ukraine does not urgently withdraw its huge forces from bahmut, it will lose the war.

Interesting. NATO does not seem to have grasped the fact that this is an artillery war by default and they have done nothing to change that. Counter battery fire is essential to minimunise Russian artillery effectiveness given that NATO has not provided aircraft which could take on that role as well. Importantly NATO has no apparent forward planning in place as far as training Ukrainians for future equipment like tanks and aircraft. Instead they react to a decision to supply a piece of equipment by then deciding that training will be required which of course delays the use of said equipment. I could go on but NATO needs to stop drip feeding Ukraine, plan ahead if it’s not too late and give them what they ask for. Ukraine know what they are doing and must be terribly frustrated that they almost have to beg month after month for equipment that is available but waiting for a ‘yes’ from somewhere.

The conquest of the Klescheyevka fortress was a dagger blow deep into the heart of the Ukrainian war machine near Bakhmut. “Wagner” continued to expand this bridgehead to the west, blocking the road connecting it to Konstantinovka.

The ratio between attackers and defenders losses are in defenders favour, but it is not 3:1 or something like that when the battle is nearly stationary and fought as artillery duels where the invaders have most equipment. Probably the russian overall loss is 180.000 including the wounded and the Ukranian half of that.
